Samsung has released a new software update for its popular smartphone model Galaxy M54. This update, which has started to be distributed for devices in Thailand, includes significant improvements on the security side.
The update, which comes with the M546BXXSCEZD3 software version, brings the April 2026 security patch. This patch increases the overall security of the device by closing 47 different vulnerabilities in the operating system.
How to check for updates?
Samsung continues to gradually roll out this update to different regions. Users can manually check for the update by clicking Download and install from the Software update section under the Settings menu.
It may take a few days for the update to reach all regions. Therefore, if you have not seen a notification on your device yet, it is recommended that you check again soon.
Future updates and One UI
The Galaxy M54 model is among the devices eligible to receive the One UI 8.5 update, Samsung’s new interface based on Android 16 QPR2. This new interface aims to offer a completely renewed user experience and various features.
On the other hand, Samsung has already started working on One UI 9.0. It is known that the new interface will come with design changes and additional features, but there is no definitive release schedule yet.
