Applications for OPPO 2026 Photography Awards have started. All the details about the competition, which has expanded with new video and zoom categories, are in our news.
OPPO Photography Awards will meet users again in 2026 by expanding its scope and perspective. Based on last year’s Super Every Moment theme, the competition draws attention with its video-focused approach this year.
Super Video and Super Zoom categories were added to the competition this year. With Journey, Me, Live and Snap, the total number of categories reached six.
New Categories and Support Programs
While the Super Video category focuses on the increasing role of video in mobile content production, Super Zoom highlights the creative possibilities offered by advanced zoom technologies. OPPO Overseas CMO Ling Liu states that supporting young creators is at the center of the competition and they aim to increase the visibility of the new generation.
OPPO 2026 Photography Awards go beyond being just a competition and are enriched with programs that aim to support creators in the long term. The Filmmaker Accelerator Program, implemented in collaboration with Discovery Channel, provides mentoring, production support and short film production opportunities to creators participating in the Super Video category.

OPPO Imaging Academy provides training content so that users can use mobile photo and video technologies more effectively. The OPPO Creators Program strengthens the ecosystem by offering visibility, collaboration opportunities and professional equipment support to successful manufacturers.
In the 2026 edition, the competition structure was expanded and a total prize pool of $ 76,500 was created. In addition to the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards to be given in the main categories; Awards under different titles such as Honorable Mention, Regional Awards and People’s Choice will find their owners.
Application Process and Jury Members
The jury of the competition includes Hasselblad Master photographers Tina Signesdottir Hult and Wang Jianjun. Also Warner Bros. Discovery’s Vikram Channa, Beijing Film Academy’s Zhu Jiong and OPPO’s Pete Lau and Joy Cheng are sitting in the jury seat.
Participation in the OPPO 2026 Photography Awards can be made with photos and videos taken with OPPO, OnePlus or realme devices. Applications can be made through the official website of the competition until December 31, 2026.
